This is a volleyball lead-up game for grades 3-4 that can be played in a classroom!

Did you ever have a day when you couldn’t use the gym? Well, here’s a neat volleyball activity for the classroom! Arrange the tables and chairs as shown below:

The desks make the shape of a capitol H. The cross bar of the H is designated as the net. Have the chairs facing the cross bar. Use a nerf volleyball or a punchball. Follow the basic rules of volleyball, plus:

The students are not allowed to get out of their chairs. If a player gets off his chair, it is considered an error. If the players in the back line are unable to reach the ball, then it is considered out of bounds.
